Excel Transportation Inc head offices are based in Prince George, British Columbia with terminals located in Terrace on the BC north coast and Peace River, Alberta.

Our fleet of trucks and trailers specialize in chip, hog fuel, sawdust, trim block and lumber hauling for the forest industry in western Canada. The fleet is also capable of heavy hauling ore and supplies for the mining industry.

Excel Transportation believes in providing flexible, reliable, timely, efficient service. We are committed to contributing to our employees successes, keeping up with
technological advancements and delivering beyond our customer’s expectations.

Excel Transportation has an ongoing safety program. We have a comprehensive drivers handbook, safety handbook, driver orientation procedure, online training, video and hard copy training programs. Safety issues, training and certifications are tracked using DATS (Digital Action Tracking System).

Fleet equipment includes: 86 tractors & 253 Trailers. The trailers consist of B-Trains, self unloaders, end dumps and flat decks. The tractors are all equipped with onboard GPS Turnpike Navigational Systems.

The Turnpike System is a total tracking system that monitors both unit and employee. The location, speed, excessive braking, idling time, fuel consumption along with stop and start locations and times are provided on a total trip report. We can easily investigate and manage incidents from the data accumulated on this system.
